The Career and College Promise (CCP) Program allows eligible students to take tuition-free college classes while in high school. There are two different types of classes available: college transfer classes and career and technical education classes. Classes are grouped into pathways. Pathways are checklists of courses. A pathway is like a menu of classes. Once a pathway is chosen, students take courses from their chosen pathway. A pathway may be changed if a student decides on a different career trajectory. Paperwork for a pathway change is handled by career coaches. The college limits pathway changes. Students may choose one college transfer pathway, one career and technical education pathway, or a college transfer pathway and a CTE pathway.
